How To Make Your Own Text To Speech Converter

 Here is a wonderful tutorial about how to create your own text to speech converter using notepad and copy paste function of your computer :). Quite funny huh, just follow the below steps to create one for you now. Don’t miss to forward your feedback and suggestions.

  • First open notepad and write the following code on notepad.
 dim msg, sapi
 msg=InputBox("Enter Your Text")
 set sapi=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice")
 sapi.speak msg

  •  Click on File >Save As, select all types in Save As Type option and save the file with extension “.vbs”  ( e.g.-Audioconverter.vbs ). And that’s it, your own text to speech converter is ready.

  • To use your text to speech converter, double click on the saved file (Audioconverter.vbs), a window will open. Enter whatever text you want to convert to speech in text box and click on OK. Voila computer is speaking what you wrote.

This .vbs file executes on all versions of Windows including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. If you liked it (even if you didn’t liked) don’t forget to send us your valuable feedback and suggestions to make Livetricks better.
