Just before the start of E3 conference, Microsoft announced the official name and other details of it’s Projet Scorpio, it’s long awaited next generation of console in Xbox series. Project Scorpio is named as Xbox one X, and will be released on Nov 7, 2017, worldwide.
Microsoft confirmed that existing Xbox one accessories & and over 300 Xbox 360/Xbox One games will work with the new console.
According to Microsoft, Xbox one X runs on eight core custom CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz which is made by AMD which produces 6 teraflops of Graphical power. It has ultra HD Blue- ray drive and comes with 1 TB of storage. According to the Xbox One X official website, it has 8GB of flash memory and 12GB of DDR5 RAM (with a bandwidth of approx 326GB/s). It comes equipped with 3 USB 3.0 ports and 2 HDMI Ports (1 HDMI 1.4b in,1 HDMI 2.0b out) and of-course the Ethernet port. It gives you a top class audio experience with s DTS 5.1, DOLBY Digital 5.1 and PCM 2.0.
Microsoft claims it to be the smallest and most powerful gaming console available till date.
Release Date and Pricing
Xbox One X will be available from Nov 7, 2017 for $499, worldwide. It will be available for pre-orders from Mid-October 2017.
